How does slice the pie work

Anybody guide me. I would certainly just check the TOS to see if there is a qualifying period of they need to activate your account. I received 0. I do know musical terminology and am a fast typist. At least I was listening to music, ha. Gave it another half hour on day two and did a little better. Thanks for letting us know about your experience with Slice The Pie, and well done for your earnings so far!

Do keep us updated with your progress! Cool stuff. SlicethePie, is turning into a scam, it feels like. This company is the most unprofessional to me, at least. I signed up for SlicethePie awhile back, then reviewed a few songs. Signed back in the other day, reviewed a few more, while making sure I was following their rules and terms of service, they still locked and banned my accounted.

What the hell! They did not even have the decency to let me know through email why they closed my account, no reasoning was ever explained. Seriously, extremely disrespectful and unprofessional if you ask me. They just tried to get my free reviews probably, because I never once went against their rules.

This company should be shut down. Personally I like the site. I have not yet earned enough on STP to withdraw anything but as an aspiring journalist and being a musician myself, I thoroughly enjoy the site. And to make money just giving reviews on my favorite thing in the world, music, is just great to me. I have a lot of free time and feel like it would be worth it in the long run if I stick with it!

One concern I do have as mentioned above is that I have not made enough to withdraw. Are they true and swift with their word on payment? I love slice the pie, music is my passion, i write in depth reviews about how the music is structured, what could make it better, and what to keep, is it catchy, would i like to hear it on the radio, what i sounds like the atmosphere yes i agree it is a shitty amount of money but its not like your making your living on this, its a great way to get a little extra cash here and there, i average 0.

Thanks Jake for sharing your thoughts on Slice The Pie, and offering advice to our visitors who might be considering using the program. I recently signed up for this website 2 weeks ago. It sounded like a pretty good idea, so I gave it a shot. If you are not a musician, I suggest learning tips on using correct words to explain music.

Anyways, I started off earning roughly cents a review. I requested a withdrawal, and it was processed in 1 day, and in my paypal account the day after. I got an email saying I need to do a little bit better on writing my reviews, and as it did frustrated me, I took the advice. Currently, I am earning 15c to 17c a review, and I am taking my time really focusing in on what I want to say. Sense then, I am really racking up money a lot faster even if it takes longer to write a review. I am hoping that I run into no issues on my second withdrawal.

I will be in touch to let everyone know, but as of now, so far, this site has been legit, and i have the statements to prove it. They said I violated their terms and conditions. I did not and tried to listen to each and every song in full so I could give a full review.

Do not waste your time! They are the cheaters! Sorry to hear about your experiences with Slice The Pie. It would be helpful to know why they thought this was the case, for you and for our visitors. I have used it for a week now. Every day I would log in and write constructive reviews. And that is when the problem starts. I would check my Paypal account everyday, hoping that I would get some extra buck. But it just stays empty.

I wrote to customer support and they never replied. Then I thought I was doing something wrong. I created the second account and started scouting there very stupid of me.

Then I tried to withdraw my money…. No result… I wrote to customer support numerous of times, no answer. Then I see that both of my accounts were blocked. And only then I got an answer from customer support two weeks later saying that my accounts were blocked because I cannot have multiple accounts. Well… What I think of that site now? Unless you are stupid enough to do something for free for some idiots that promise you rewards and then just bail.

That website is bs. It definitely sounds like your efforts have not be appreciated by the STP team, and from what you said the only thing I can suggest is that you contact support and ask them to check the dates associated with when you opened your accounts.

Technically speaking, they cannot penalize you for your first account and your earnings, so they do owe you that amount. I think you have a solid case here. The Slicethepie site is not a scam! Pure and simple. Thanks also for shining some light on the possible reason why people are not receiving payouts. In truth, no customer service team should penalize people for bugging them.

I agree. They are usually pretty good, and payments for me were fast. Emily yes you can sign up for Slice The Pie. Although it pays in US dollars anyone from around the World can join.

You definitely expand your music vocabulary and widen out your taste in music. Over all, it can be a fun and productive way to spend some free time. Eli thanks for your comment. I contacted them , they said its permanently closed. I ask can I create a new account she said no. They say I had bad english, and I created a new account since this one was permanently suspended.

Meaning I will never get it back. They say multiple accounts is illegal but the other one got shot down. I had an issue with that site, the reviewing worked ok, also just cents per review but it actually worked and i didnt spend too much time, yet. MY issue is this:. I didnt log in via facebook, but just via registration, used my paypal,as suggested, gave all of those pretty weird info they wanted incl.

I mean, why do they need that? But this is also not my concern:. After finishing the registration and being able to review ect. So how does that work? How can they get this info, except they kind of monitor you or grab info they arent allowed to get.

I was also online on fb at that time while signing in, but like i said, different name, different mail address ect. Really not sure, what to think about this! There are possibly a couple of ways this can happen and that is by cookies which all sites place on your machine from the sites you visit.

I would suggest that you clear your cache and see if this makes a difference. Plus I would clear the history from the websites you visit in your browser. Can Slice of the Pie be rated from an IPad? It might be worth contacting them to ask if they do accept iPads. Worked fine on my computer, but just logged on my tablet and am having the same issue as you.

Guess not, is what I am thinking. It could be that they need to optimize their content for those using mobile devices. I have just used the contact form on the website to ask about this, and I will report back if they come back with an answer.

Of course it has seen it before if you use the KEY Words. If you do not use the KEY words the algorithm criticises the content of the review. SLP are very polite when you contact them, they suggested using another browser, we have tried all the browsers with no change. The problem lies with them, they either, do not want reviews from europe or, they do not want to pay for the reviews because there is no way to prove that they did not actually receive all the reviews my wife has submitted.

Yeah, that has happened to me a few times, I lost my reviews and they said the same thing to me that I have to log out and try again. That was very frustrating, because those reviews took me more time and thought.. Also, I noticed that if I write faster the reveiw goes through, so maybe it is a computer glitch. But now when I write the computer says that my style is becoming too familiar. I see this as a challenge to help me strectch my ability in reviewing.

Anyway, good luck in your reviewing, it does work. Right now, I just got blocked, due to signing in and out too much. Many blessings to you and thanks for the posting. Thank you for your comment and good luck to you with your reviews.

Maybe it would be better for you not to log in and and out, as this can trigger things with these type of sites. Can you please tell me how slicethepie makes their money? Do record companies get involved? I expect through a combination of advertising, record companies and sponsorship.
