Erik Selin July 15, at am. I have arrived twice to Narita and both times have been good experiences. Upon departure however, both times have offered some trouble. I eventually got off and took a taxi instead, but traffic jams made me miss the plane anyway.

At the airport they helped me reserve a hotel for the night, Narita rest house which was just walking distance from the departure hall. They also gave me a phone number to the airline KLM where I could rebook my flight. The second time I made sure to take an early train and also the correct train, directly to the airport. The train was fully booked however, so there were no seats available.

Also the train stopped for about an hour due to someone had been seen walking on the tracks. Ty W November 3, at pm. I have flown to and through many different airports.

None even come close to NRT. All airlines are in two groups, making it extremely easy to find the airline as well as walk from one to another. A traveller can get there for an international flight 1 hour before the flight departs, check-in and still have time to grab some food.

Security is easy and fast. Immigration is fast and easy. Transportation from the airport is plentiful. There are multiple trains, buses, taxis, etc. There is food and shopping after passing through security as well.

I had a couple of 2 hour layovers there and was very comfortable. They have lounge chairs to rest in, plenty of shops to browse, and the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in my life!
